Hi Friends,

Do you or a loved one suffer from an autoimmune disease? In many ways, autoimmune disease is like a new pandemic, with its incidence and prevalence on the rise. There are over 100 different autoimmune diseases and some of the main ones are shown in the diagram above.

What causes the immune system to start attacking your own tissues?  In the video above, I review concepts like breach of tolerance, the hygiene hypothesis, the impact of the gut microbiome, infections, and much more. Learn the impact of genetics and the environment when it comes to autoimmune diseases.

Conventional medicine addresses the symptoms of autoimmune diseases with immunosuppressive medications like steroids and other stronger biological therapies. Although sometimes necessary and lifesaving, they are often accompanied by some potential serious side effects. The impact of diet on autoimmune disease is huge, yet sadly many conventionally trained doctors do not acknowledge this connection and tell patients that there is no impact of their diet on the course of their disease. 😱

The great news is there is a lot you can do to improve your autoimmune disease through diet and lifestyle. Your biggest immune system is in the lining of your gut, so healing your gut is a big first step in treating autoimmune diseases. Many people with autoimmune disease suffer from increased intestinal permeability, also known Leaky Gut and Dysbiosis (bacterial imbalance), which need to be addressed.

Why does cutting out certain foods like gluten🥖 and dairy🧀 make a big difference? What’s the verdict on nightshade vegetables🍆 and nuts?  I review all this and more in this video!

Did you know there are certain key supplements that can make a big difference in autoimmune diseases? For example, optimizing your vitamin D to 60-80 ng/mL is critically important. 🌟

Key Supplements Helpful In Autoimmune Diseases:

  • ✅ Vitamin D3 with K2: A key modulator of the immune system.
  • ✅ Omega 3 Fish Oil can help lower inflammation and help with joint pain
  • ✅ Turmeric Pro: Has anti-inflammatory benefits
  • ✅ Essential Magnesium: Helps with liver detox pathways, bowel regularity, and restful sleep
  • ✅ Selenium: This antioxidant trace mineral has been shown to reduce TPO antibodies in Hashimoto’s.
  • ✅ Glutathione or NAC : These antioxidants work at a cellular level to reverse damage from free radicals.

Gut Healing: The Cornerstone of Autoimmune Recovery

  • ✅ L Glutamine: Heals leaky gut, one of the primary drivers of autoimmune disease.
  • ✅ IgG Guard: Dairy-free immunoglobulins; also great for leaky gut
  • ✅ Digestive Enzyme Pro: This improves the breakdown of food as undigested proteins can sometimes confuse the immune system
  • ✅ Probiotic 100 Billion or Probiotic 225 Billion: Rebuilds your gut microbiome, restoring balance and strength to your body’s natural defenses.

Over the years, I’ve seen numerous patients with autoimmune diseases transform their health. For example, I’ve seen many patients with Hashimoto’s observe significant improvement in symptoms as well as normalization of their TPO antibody level. To learn more about Hashimoto’s, please see my video below.

It’s time to reconsider how we approach autoimmune diseases. I hope you enjoy my video, which presents a comprehensive holistic protocol that addresses the root causes through diet and lifestyle changes to truly heal your body from within.✨
