Hi Friends,
Are you getting a good night’s sleep? š“ Do you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the day?
Quality sleep is crucial for your overall health and longevity. If you find yourself tossing and turning at night, it might be taking a toll on your overall health.
Did you know that poor sleep can lead to:
- Fatigue and sluggishness
- Increased cortisol and unwanted weight gain
- Stronger cravings for sugar and carbs (leading to higher insulin levels)
- Heightened anxiety and mood swings
- Elevated blood pressure
- Impaired cognitive function, potentially leading to dementia
- A weakened immune system
- Accelerated aging and more inflammation
But the good news is there are many ways to improve your sleep!
In my video onĀ Sleep, I share 17 natural tips to help you sleep more soundly. Watch it now to discover simple strategies that can make a big difference.
One supplement that can enhance sleep quality isĀ ā Ā Essential Magnesium.Ā Itās a chelated form containing magnesium citrate, glycinate, and malate, which can improve muscle recovery, reduce anxiety, and help you enjoy a deeper, more restorative sleep.
Another helpful supplementĀ isĀ ā Ā Calm PM.Ā This natural supplement containsĀ GABA (a calming neurotransmitter), taurine (supports GABA), 5-HTP (boosts melatonin production), phosphatidylserine (reduces cortisol), and magnesiumāall working together to help you achieve that peaceful, uninterrupted sleep you deserve.
Anxiety is another common symptom I see in my practice.Ā Whether itās triggered by the news, traffic, airports, or stressful events, anxiety can be overwhelming. To explore natural ways to manage anxiety, check out my video onĀ Anxiety and Depression.
Here are my top supplement recommendations for anxiety:
ā
Ā Methyl B Complex
ā
Ā Ā Omega-3 Fish Oil
ā
Ā Ā Vitamin D3 with K2
ā
Ā Ā Essential Magnesium
ā
Ā Ā Probiotic 100 BillionĀ (because of the gut-brain axis)
Of course, our diet plays a key role in managing anxiety and improving sleep quality as well.
Finally, gut microbiome disruption such asĀ DysbiosisĀ orĀ Leaky GutĀ can also affect sleep and mood as well, since 80% of our melatonin (sleep hormone) and serotonin (happy neurotransmitter) are made in the lining of our gut!Ā Another example isĀ Histamine Intolerance, where a person is unable to break down the natural histamines present in foods, and it can lead to anxiety and insomnia!
