Many Americans suffer from gut inflammation due to the Standard American Diet (SAD Diet)🍟, which is loaded in processed foods, refined carbs, inflammatory oils, sugar, pesticides, and preservatives. There are 2 key supplements that can be used to heal the gut:

✅ L-Glutamine is a remarkable amino acid that nurtures the enterocytes, the vital cells lining your intestines. It’s instrumental in mending the tight junctions between cells and restoring the integrity of the gut lining, healing Leaky Gut. It helps with a wide range of IBS symptoms, minimizing pain and discomfort. L-Glutamine is best taken in the morning on an empty stomach, 1-2 scoops with a glass of water along with your probiotic. It can take 3-6 months to heal the gut.

✅ IgG Guard is bovine immunoglobulins (IgG antibodies). Are you familiar with colostrum? This is the mother’s first milk that has crucial antibodies for the gut microbiome and immune system of the infant. IgG Guard is similar to colostrum, but is dairy-free as it is derived from bovine serum, rather than milk. It works to rapidly heal the gut lining by binding to toxins, bad microbes, and even food particles that are causing gut inflammation. It’s best to take 2 capsules once or twice a day on an empty stomach (AM and bedtime).

For those of you trying to watch your carbs and avoid refined sugar, you will LOVE these Blueberry🫐 muffins! They are paleo, gluten-free, and dairy-free. They’re a perfect “healthy” treat full of antioxidants from blueberries and olive oil. Blueberries are one of my favorite superfoods full of the dark blue antioxidant known as anthocyanins. There’s nothing like a morning cup of coffee with a blueberry muffin!

Dry Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients:
4 eggs
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
Zest of 1 lemon 🍋
1/2 cup water

Final Ingredient:
Fresh organic blueberries🫐 (small 6 oz package)

Mix the wet and dry ingredients separately in 2 large mixing bowls. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well. Then gently stir in the blueberries🫐. Scoop the batter into a 12 cupcake pan, lined with cupcake wrappers.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
