šHello Friends!
Are you suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), abdominal pain, gastritis, bloating, heartburn, or irregular bowel habits? Often the root cause is inflammation in the lining of your gut.š„
Many Americans suffer from gut inflammation due to theĀ Standard American Diet (SAD Diet)š, which is loaded inĀ processed foods, refined carbs, inflammatory oils, sugar, pesticides, and preservatives. In addition, certain prescription medications, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), and antibiotics can all alter the gut microbiome. Even stress and sleep deprivation can cause inflammation in the gut!
Gut inflammation can also affect other organ systems!Ā Are you noticing joint pain, brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, frequent infections, or insomnia? These could be signals of inflammation originating from your gut lining.Ā That’s because a significant portion of our immune system is in the delicate lining of our intestines!Ā A disrupted gut lining may lead to increased intestinal permeability, known as Leaky Gut, confusing your immune system and sparking widespread inflammation, even autoimmune disorders!
Please watch my video onĀ Leaky GutĀ to learn diet and lifestyle strategies to heal gut inflammation.
There are 2 key supplements that can be used to heal the gut:
ā
Ā L-GlutamineĀ is a remarkable amino acid that nurtures the enterocytes, the vital cells lining your intestines. It’s instrumental in mending the tight junctions between cells and restoring the integrity of the gut lining, healing Leaky Gut. It helps with a wide range of IBS symptoms, minimizing pain and discomfort. L-Glutamine is best taken in the morning on an empty stomach, 1-2 scoops with a glass of water along with yourĀ probiotic.Ā It can take 3-6 months to heal the gut.
ā
Ā IgG GuardĀ is bovine immunoglobulins (IgG antibodies).Ā Are you familiar with colostrum? This is the mother’s first milk that has crucial antibodies for the gut microbiome and immune system of theĀ infant.Ā IgG Guard is similar to colostrum, but is dairy-free as it is derived from bovine serum, rather than milk. It works to rapidly heal the gut lining by binding to toxins, bad microbes, and even food particles that are causing gut inflammation.Ā It’s best to take 2 capsules once or twice a day on an empty stomach (AM and bedtime).
Both of these supplements have been best sellers among our patients and customers!Ā ā We have received incredible feedback on the efficacy of both in improving digestive symptoms and overall health.Ā š
How do you know if you should be taking one of these supplements?Ā š¤
If you have any gut symptoms, you may benefit from trying one of these gut-healing supplements. Or, you may choose to take it as a preventative approachĀ for your overall health, especially if you have food sensitivities or inflammation. Those with an autoimmune disease may benefit from using these supplements long term.
I have a special treat for you! Ā As a lifelong chocolate lover, I had to come up with the best recipe for healthyĀ PALEO BROWNIES!Ā Ā These brownies are so easy to make from scratch and have superfood ingredients like cacao powder, which is loaded with antioxidants and flavonoids. They areĀ gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free.Ā
