Tired of having to avoid gluten? Fed up with avoiding foods, plants, animals or chemicals? If so, you may be a great candidate for NAET.
Dr. Roy specializes in Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET). This technique was developed by his mother, Dr. Devi Nambudripad, and is now done worldwide. Our clinic, OC Integrative Medicine, is the global headquarters for NAET. NAET is a revolutionary technique that uses principles of acupuncture and Chinese medicine to treat food and environmental allergies and sensitivities. It is a form of energy medicine that balances the body when there is a weakness because of a trigger. These triggers can be food items, emotions, clothing, environmental issues or even chemicals.
NAET has been very effective in many conditions, often when western medicine provides limited options. For example, it has been shown to be effective in autism (see Research section for published randomized and controlled trial), chronic fatigue and pain syndromes, autoimmune conditions, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and food allergies (see case report on Peanut anaphylaxis).
If done properly, NAET has very limited and minimal side effects. While very effective, NAET does require multiple treatments and some time in order to produce lasting results. For patients interested in NAET, the initial consultation is a dedicated medical evaluation consisting of a history, physical, and possible blood tests. This consultation will determine if you have any health issues that need to be addressed prior to beginning NAET. It will also determine if you are a candidate for NAET. Blood tests or other imaging studies may be recommended at the initial visit. If blood tests are recommended, we can draw these in our office after the consultation. NAET treatments are only provided on visits as follow-up after the initial evaluation and testing.
We highly recommend, “Say Goodbye to Illness” by Dr. Devi Nambudripad to patients interested in pursuing NAET.
